Breakfast is a great way to start the day. There is nothing more refreshing and vitamin-rich than a fresh breakfast smoothie.

These breakfast smoothie recipes contain fruits and vegetables and can be made in minutes. My breakfast!

These smoothies are delicious and sweet, making them the perfect treat or late night snack without affecting your healthy diet throughout the day. It’s time to hoard frozen fruits!

Smoothie tips

Load your blender: I have seen many different “correct” ways to load a blender to make a smoothie. What they have in common is that they all recommend adding liquid first, and ice/frozen fruit last. (If you use frozen fruit, you don’t need to add extra ice cubes.)

Prepare the frozen package in advance: To make smoothies easier, you can prepare enough ingredients to make a few smoothies in advance and put small packets in the refrigerator.

  1. Choose your favorite smoothie recipe.
  2. Decide in advance how many servings you want to make and calculate the quantity of each ingredient you need.
  3. Divide fruits, vegetables and other superfoods into different containers. (I use Ziplocs in a quart refrigerator).
  4. If you want, you can pre-frozen the yogurt in ice cube trays. Then, divide the frozen smoothie cubes into containers.
  5. Put the smoothie packs together in a larger Ziploc or container. I like to make a list of what you need to add to each pouch to complete the smoothie making.

texture: Make your smoothie thick or thin:

  • Thinner: Add more liquid, such as apple juice, water or milk.
  • Bold Served with yogurt or fruit. Bananas are particularly effective.

Leftover smoothies

Store leftovers: The remaining smoothie can be kept in the refrigerator for about a day. Be sure to add a little lemon or lime juice to the smoothie to help it brown before storage. Choose an airtight container suitable for smoothies so that there is not a lot of empty space. If the smoothie separates, just pour it back into the blender and stir a few times before drinking.

Frozen leftovers: Fill the ice cube tray with the remaining smoothie, then put the tray in the refrigerator. After freezing, put the cube in the zip lock of the refrigerator and mark the type of smoothie. Next time you make a smoothie, you can add frozen cubes to the smoothie, or increase the number slightly. If you have enough smoothie cubes, you can even mix them together and add a little liquid to make a mini smoothie.

Popsicle: Another thing I like to make with leftover smoothies is popsicles for kids. Fill popsicle molds with smoothies and freeze. Children like to eat them as snacks, especially in the summer in Arizona.

Healthy choice

Skip the sugary cereal and start making milkshakes. Depending on the ingredients you use, you can make the milkshake healthier.

  • Use low-fat milk and yogurt.
  • Use unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk instead of dairy products.
  • Use honey or stevia instead of white sugar to sweeten it.
  • Use organic ingredients.
  • Add the greens. We like to add spinach, but akle can also be used.Use baby vegetables because they tend to have a milder taste, but still have all the nutrients like old vegetables
  • Add firewood seeds, fiber, collagen, nutritional yeast and flax seeds.
  • Add protein powder. Nut butters also provide excellent protein and flavor.
