This dish is as cute as turkey. This is the perfect Thanksgiving appetizer made year after year, even kids can help.

The vegetable platter is indispensable at any gathering. They offset all the other heavy appetizers with something slightly lighter. I like vegetable appetizers because it provides a good healthy choice for everyone. This turkey vegetable platter is fun to make-get your kids involved. They will love it! !

Turkey Vegetable Tray Dip + Noodles

Choose your favorite dipping sauce and place it on the bottom of the turkey vegetable tray. Here are some of our favorite dips:

Now it’s time to make the turkey face! Cut off the bottom of the red pepper. Use baby carrots as a beak and add candy eyeballs! It’s that simple. Place it in the dipping bowl as shown in the picture above.

How to make the body

Collect and prepare all the vegetables first. For this vegetable platter we used,

  • Cucumber slices
  • Baby carrots
  • broccoli
  • pea
  • Chili flakes (red and yellow)

Other vegetables you can use are asparagus, cherry tomatoes and/or celery sticks.

First, spread the cut cucumber in a half circle around the plate. We made two rows of cucumbers, as shown in the picture below. Then spread the carrots, yellow and red peppers, and cauliflower slices into smaller half circles. End with the peas at the bottom. Then add a bowl of your favorite dipping sauce. Put the turkey face made of chili in the dipping bowl.

How to store turkey vegetable trays?

You can make this turkey vegetable platter up to 24 hours in advance. Just cover it tightly with plastic wrap and store it in the refrigerator.

You can also prepare all the vegetables 24-48 hours in advance, then put them in a Ziploc bag and refrigerate until you are ready to put them together.
