Spinach and Artichoke Dipping Sauce: Party Dipping Sauce!

We like appetizers at home, and we like to make appetizers for parties, parties and holidays!

We always prepare plenty of appetizers and dip recipes on New Year’s Eve to enjoy that evening, and I want to share one of our favorites with you today-Cheese Spinach Artichoke Dip!

As far as I can remember, artichoke dip has always been one of my favorite appetizers and one that we often eat when we go out on dates. This cheese dip has become our first choice (there are also Buffalo Chicken Dip and Cream Cheese Bean Dip).

This recipe is very simple, it only requires a small amount of ingredients and can be made in a few minutes. The most time-consuming part is waiting for it to bake in the oven!

How to make spinach artichoke sauce:

This dipping sauce may take 5 minutes to mix all the ingredients together before baking in the oven-this is the most important step. Spinach and artichokes become soft, and the cheese and cream ingredients become very warm and viscous, which is the best. I even thought about drooling.

mix. To make the dipping sauce, mix Parmesan cheese, spinach and artichoke hearts in a bowl.

bake. In a separate bowl, combine sour cream, cream cheese, mayonnaise, and garlic. Add to the spinach mixture and mix everything well. Pour into an 8×8 pan and bake at 375° for 25 minutes.

The service is warm. This roasted spinach artichoke dip is definitely the best hot food, and we guarantee it won’t last long-it’s just that good!

Can you use canned spinach? You can definitely use canned spinach for this spinach dip recipe. Just make sure to drain it and squeeze out the excess liquid.

Can you use fresh spinach? You can also use fresh spinach! Chop the spinach and throw it in the recipe. When the artichoke sauce is roasted in the oven, the spinach will be cooked.

Frequently Asked Questions about Party Preparation

Can the spinach artichoke dip be made ahead of time? You can definitely do this in advance, this is something we often do. Just follow the instructions for the dipping sauce and put it on your plate. Cover in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours before baking.

Can artichoke dipping sauce be made in a crock? You can definitely turn it into a clay pot version. Mix all ingredients as directed. Put it in a greased slow cooker and heat it for 3-4 hours at low gear or 2 hours at high gear.

Can you freeze this recipe? We don’t recommend freezing this recipe because mayonnaise and sour cream usually don’t freeze well. Test its effect by freezing a small batch for 24 hours.

What to serve with spinach dipping sauce?

We are bored and usually serve nachos with our artichoke dipping sauce, but there are other things that match well. Some of them include:

  • biscuits
  • Vegetables-cucumbers, carrots, celery, peppers
  • Bread slices or cubes (toasted crostini works well, or French bread slices work well too!)
  • Pita chips and other corn chips
  • Grissini (biscuits like breadsticks)

Are you drooling too? If not, you should be! ! We really hope you enjoy this dip recipe as much as we do. 😉I am really excited to do this again. It is so good! ! The best part is that it also reheats well, which is always a benefit. 😉
