Mini Pizza quick + easy to customize!


These mini pizzas are bite-sized pizzas topped with cheese, tomatoes, fresh basil, and more. They’re perfect for lunch, dinner, or even an appetizer at a party!

You can use this idea for “mini” pizzas and use your favorite toppings, such as BBQ Chicken Pizza, Caprese Pizza, or Artichoke Pizza. Any version would make a great appetizer.

Now that I think about it, I don’t think I’ve ever met someone who didn’t like pizza. This is great! Because it’s one of everyone’s favorite foods, our family eats it once a week. I wanted to try a new “pizza” recipe and this is what we came up with.

If you’ve had a margherita pizza before, you know how delicious a simple combination of ingredients can be!

These mini versions are especially fun for kids. They had a blast cutting round dough pieces with a round cookie cutter.

For an easy lunch or dinner idea (or even as an appetizer at a party), I think you’ll love these mini pizzas!

How to Make Mini Pizzas

Prepare. Preheat oven to 425.

ingredients. Combine ingredients in a small bowl.

dough. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface and roll into a rectangle. Use a small round cookie cutter or glass to cut out 20 round pizza doughs. Reroll the crumbs and cut out the dough and place on a greased cookie sheet.

optimal. Sprinkle with cheese and tomato mixture.

bake. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Or until the edges of the crust are golden brown.

custom made: There are tons of ways to vary these mini pizzas, but just add your favorite toppings: pepperoni, sausage, bacon, ham and pineapple, veggies, and more!

Freezable: If you have leftovers, or want to make a bunch ahead of time, you can store them in the refrigerator. In fact, they make a very easy snack for older kids to heat up on their own.

  1. Let them cool and place them in a single layer in a freezer sealable bag.
  2. Freeze up to 2 months.
  3. Reheat in oven or microwave. For larger batches, reheat in oven set to 400°F until warm throughout.
