Because I have always been a big fan of the sweet and rich combination of honey and pineapple, I added a little pineapple juice to the bag to make a delicious tropical flavored sauce.

When we were shopping at Walmart, I picked up these convenient blends/frictions. They come in three flavors: original, sweet honey and spicy Havana. As I mentioned above, you can customize them with water, juice, soda, or use it as a dry wipe-I have done all of them.

The chicken is juicy and delicious, blending perfectly with the grilled pineapple and red onion slices. Our family loves this combination! These chicken sandwiches will add a lot to our summer barbecue sauce.

Making barbecue sandwiches

I use a few tablespoons of the mixture to dry, and then grill the chicken. This is a quick and easy way to add flavor to it. Before assembling the sandwiches, I made a sauce and brushed it on the cooked chicken. This is how I did it:

Chick. Rub 2 tablespoons dry wipe on both sides of the chicken breast. Grill or cook in a greased pan until fully cooked (or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees).

Sauce. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the remaining dry grit and pineapple juice until a thick sauce is formed. Brush generously on the cooked chicken.

gather. When assembling the sandwich, place half of the lettuce on the bottom half of the bun, then add the chicken, pineapple, red onion, remaining lettuce, and the top of the bun. Serve hot.
