Easy Sweet Potato Chowder Recipe


A healthy and nutritious dish that can be eaten aside or in a bowl with your favorite protein choice. Sweet, salty and super delicious, this sweet potato hash will become the new favorite.

I like to add healthy side dishes to a meal. This sweet potato hash is great in autumn and winter, but we also like grilled zucchini fries and oven-roasted Brussels sprouts.

Simple + delicious sweet potato hash

This sweet potato hash is one of my favorite side dishes. It is healthy, but it tastes great. So many wonderful flavors blend together-sweet potatoes, onions, garlic and bell peppers. This dish is completely vegetarian, so you can take it as a meal or as a meal!

Ever since I went to the Animal Kingdom in Disney World and tried the sweet potato hash at Satu’-li Canteen (a fast casual restaurant in the park), I knew I had to make a copycat version. I think we succeeded! If you have ever been in the Satu’-li canteen, you must get the sweet potato hash. It comes in a bowl (you can choose mashed potatoes, rice or salad) and meat of your choice, which is great.

We are so excited that we have this delicious recipe to make at home. It is very suitable as a side dish for breakfast or any lunch or dinner.

How to make sweet potato chowder

dice. Before you start making mashed potatoes, be sure to cut 2 medium-sized sweet potatoes and one white sweet potato into bite-sized pieces and keep the skin. While you are making it, dice the onion as well.

saute. First heat the olive oil in a large saucepan over medium high heat. After the olive oil is heated, add potatoes and onions. Sprinkle salt and pepper on them and stir to combine. Turn down the heat, cover the pot, and cook for 15-20 minutes.

Occasionally, stir the mixture and cook until the potatoes are almost tender. Turn the heat to high and add the bell peppers and garlic. Boil everything on high heat for 2-5 minutes. When ready to serve, the potatoes should have browned nicely!
