Thick and soft mint brownies filled with creamy mint. They are decadent and only need a few ingredients!

  • 1 package Betty Crocker Fudge Brownie Mix
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 2 tablespoons peppermint extract
  • 2-3 drops green food coloring
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line and lightly grease a 9Ă—13 plate with parchment paper.

  • Make the brownies following the directions on the box and bake in a 9Ă—13 pan.

  • In a medium bowl whisk together powdered sugar, butter, peppermint extract, food coloring and milk until smooth. Spread evenly over cooled brownies (we added clumps on top to make it easier to spread).

  • In a microwave safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and butter until smooth. spread. Layer with mint, cover and cool for at least 1 hour.

  • Let sit for 20-30 minutes before cutting into squares.
