No great holiday dinner is complete without rich and delicious creamy corn! It’s creamy, buttery and cheesy. Everyone’s favorite holiday side dish!

We have a recipe for creamed corn in a pan, but I love that this crock pot version doesn’t require me to do it myself all the time! It’s a super easy side dish perfect for a busy holiday meal.

Slow Cooker Creamed Corn

I love creamed corn for so many reasons!

First, it’s super easy to make. Who doesn’t love easy side dish recipes? Skip the canned creamed corn and make sure to make your own. Second, it’s creamy and incredibly indulgent. All the ingredients are well mixed together. This recipe tastes great.

There’s a reason creamed corn is a staple of many Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. It’s easy to make, made ahead of time, and everyone loves it. The prep takes only a few minutes (packing frozen corn is all about winning!) This recipe is made in a crock pot, which makes it even easier. Set and forget!

2 Steps – How To Use Canned Creamed Corn

Heat cream cheese, butter, milk, sugar, pepper and garlic salt in a medium saucepan to start making the cream. Mix everything together until well combined.

Place frozen corn in slow cooker and cover with cream cheese mixture. Cook on high for 1 hour or on low for 2-3 hours. Give it a good mix and make sure the corn is cooked through. It’s that easy – just two easy steps.

You can also double or triple this recipe if desired! Just make sure your slow cooker can hold that amount and double or triple the ingredients.

If you like your creamed corn thicker Turn on your crockpot and cook on HIGH for another 15 minutes than normal. The corn will thicken as it cools down. Make sure to heat the creamed corn!

How to store

if you have leftovers (What!?) Put them in an airtight container, then shop They are in the refrigerator. They will last 4-5 days if stored properly.
