A creepy cake

Today I have another interesting and creepy creation to share with you!

This inspiration comes from the chocolate pudding spider pie we made a few years ago. These are personal-sized treats, and I think it would be fun to make a big spider cake simple and delicious and perfect for all Halloween celebrations.

I like its festive atmosphere, and children like its deliciousness. The best part is that it is very simple to make and does not require much baking skills.

In fact, I ended up using a cake box to make a real cake, and then made a great homemade chocolate butter frosting to match it.

The icing makes it so delicious with the crushed Oreos around it. At first, I wanted to use black licorice on my legs, but that didn’t work, so black cardboard was my second choice.

We like the result, and I am very happy that it came out. 😀This cake is really suitable for any Halloween event you are about to hold, and it will be welcomed by all children (even adults). If you like chocolate and Oreos, you will love this creepy, creepy cake!

frost. Mix butter, powdered sugar, cocoa, whipped cream and vanilla to make frosting. Stir until everything is combined. If you want a thicker consistency, add more powdered sugar, and if you want a thinner, add more whipped cream.

Decorate. Frost the cake and add crushed Oreos to the cake (adding chocolate Jimmy makes the eve more textured). Add cinnamon sugar to the front of the eyes. Put the card legs on the cake before serving!

notes. I ended up cutting one leg from the black cardstock and then stroking it to make seven more legs. I put them in before we serve the cakes so they don’t mess up (or take up too much space in the refrigerator).

For longer storage, I recommend freezing Separate the cake and frosting. The cake can be wrapped tightly in plastic wrap, then wrapped in aluminum foil, and stored in the refrigerator for up to 6 months.

Frozen icing, In an airtight container, it can be stored for up to 3 months. Adjust the frosting to room temperature, but there is no need to thaw the cake before frosting.

Shop Cake in the refrigerator or on the counter with a bowl covered on it. It does not need to be stored in an airtight container because the frosting can protect the cake, but a loose covering like a bowl can prevent dust or hair from falling on the cake.
