What will happen?
We were immediately directed to a comfortable double sunbed facing the marina with views of Al Ain Dubai in the distance. After a quick stroll across the venue across the 50th floor, we followed the tote bags placed on each sunbed to the changing rooms with Acqua di Parma toiletries.
Around this time of year, afternoon sessions can bring a welcome breeze as you wind your way through the pool that winds its way to the chic deck. We swam around, took leisurely strolls, and enjoyed unparalleled views from one of the city’s most exquisite rooftop pools. Cool tunes and an eclectic vibe complete the experience, and even with the chatter in the air, we can still get a good read.
After our first dip, my dining partner and I perused the mixed drink menu. Inspired by iconic Asian cities, the drink menu features an innovative signature blend of grapefruit, lemongrass and a variety of herbs and citrus fruits. Pair with all-time favorite poolside snacks, including light, crispy Sichuan pepper squid with lime aioli, and juicy, well-wrapped dynamite rock prawns with an Asian salad to complement your drink.
For a heartier bite, try the juicy Wagyu beef sliders, served with more beef bacon jam, wrapped in the inside of potato bread and served on patties with marinated salad and mustard aioli . Rich in flavor and texture in every bite, it’s the perfect sandwich to pair with truffle fries and smoky gouda. Gochujang Cauliflower Popcorn is another winner – a delicious vegetarian snack with a crispy crust and a chili honey glaze. Large-sized pieces are easy to fill, so we highly recommend sharing, especially if you focus on yakitori options.
While you indulge in poolside snacks, you can relax with the beautiful concoctions or pick from the grape list. Take a few extra sips before sunset, and when you’re feeling hungry, order Balinese Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce and Malaysian Spiced Rib Eye with Gazpacho—both are incredibly tender, full of flavor, and deep within the surface Down.
The magical orange sunset will leave you in awe as it colors the sky. Crowds tend to leave soon after dusk, but stay until 7pm to gaze at the brightly lit city as it comes alive at night.
