White Chocolate Dipped Snickers | Little Luna

I like Snickers. They are by far one of my favorite cookies. They are chewy and sweet with just the right amount of spice. It’s hard to improve something so good.

Well, I think I might have done just that! I combined my love of white chocolate with my love of snickers and almost created the best cookies ever. The white chocolate dipped snickerdoodles are still chewy and delicious, and the white chocolate adds flavor and smoothness!

Not only do they look great, they taste great. the most important is? The steps for this addition are very simple. You will love sharing these with friends and family! That is, if anything, it can pass you. 😉

Making Chocolate Dipped Snickers

dry ingredients. Mix together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. shelved.

wet ingredients. Whisk together sugar and butter. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix well.

bake. Shape dough into 1-inch balls and roll in cinnamon sugar mixture. Place 2 inches on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. (makes about 3-4 dozen cookies)

chocolate. After the cookies have cooled, melt the chocolate wafers in the microwave or in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly.

dip. Once all melted, dip half of the cookies in the melted white chocolate and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Serve once.

Baking time: Our recipe says to bake for 8-10 minutes. I usually take them out after 8 minutes and let them cool on the baking sheet.

Double boiler: Using a double boiler is a great way to keep the chocolate warm while dipping it.

  • To make your own double broiler: Find a heat-resistant glass or metal bowl that can sit on top of the pot without falling into it. Add 2-3 inches of water to a pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and place bowl on top. Add the chocolate wafers and bring to a boil and melt. Add more water if necessary.

Food Coloring: White chocolate is an excellent base for adding food coloring. You can coordinate the color with any holiday around the corner. You can also add holiday decorations.

storage tips

freeze Dough comes in log form or pre-made dough balls. They can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 3 months. Thaw, shape into balls, add cinnamon and sugar, then bake and dip according to recipe directions.

  • log format: Divide the dough to form two logs. Wrap each log tightly with plastic wrap, then wrap them in aluminum foil.
  • Dough Balls: Place the formed dough balls on the cookie sheet. Don’t get caught up in the cinnamon/sugar mixture. Put them in the refrigerator until the dough is firm. Transfer dough balls to refrigerator Ziploc.

shop Bake snickerdoodles in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-4 days. Place a loaf of white bread in the container with the biscuits to help them stay soft.
