The best Snickers apple salad (+video)
This delicious apple snickers salad is made with layers of Granny Smith apples, snickers and caramel in cream toppings, made from a cool whip, milk and vanilla pudding mixture.
Even though this is dessert, it still counts as a vegetable salad, right? 😉 Layered desserts like this, our candy bars, and even banana pudding, are perfect for parties when you want desserts to wow your guests!

It is definitely not as healthy as vegetable salad, but I can assure you that this Snickers apple salad tastes much better. 😉
As you can see, it is because it is more like a dessert salad! I tell you now, you will like it! ! It’s a bit like a big caramelized apple wrapped in nuts and cream. If you ask us, it’s hard not to like it.
My sister made this not long ago, and the family officially announced it is a new favorite. If you have not tried this delicious recipe, I highly recommend it. It is perfect for family gatherings and barbecues in the summer, and even to celebrate the caramel apple weather in the fall.
How to make snickers salad
Making this snickers salad is as simple as cutting up apples and snickers sticks and layering them with a cool whip/pudding mixture. Assembly only takes a few minutes!
Mix it up a bit: You can change the taste of the pudding and use white chocolate or butterscotch. Try to change the candy bar type and use galaxy or twix. You can also add chocolate syrup on top and sprinkle with chopped nuts. Be creative!
Which apple is best to use? It all depends on your preference. I like to use more sour apples to balance the sweetness of other ingredients. I like to put it in a glass side dish when eating my Snickers salad at parties! It makes it look beautiful! Do not you think so? If you are making it for a party, you may wonder if you can make it ahead of time, or what to do if there are leftovers…
You can make adjustments one day in advance. If you want to layer the ingredients, you need to treat the apples to prevent them from browning.Here are a few ways: *Some may change the taste of apples
- Lemon juice or lime juice: Add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to 1 cup of water. Soak the apple slices for 3-5 minutes, drain, rinse and pat dry.
- Use fresh fruit or other ascorbic acid powder. This can usually be found in the food storage/canning section of the grocery store.
- Soak ginger ale for 3-5 minutes, drain, rinse and pat dry.
- Brine: Mix 1-2 teaspoons of salt to 1 quart of water. Soak the apples for 3-5 minutes, drain, rinse and pat dry.
- Using a very sharp knife to cut the apple can also help.
Store leftovers Cover the refrigerator and refrigerate for 2-3 days.
