We were a hit at our Halloween party here and I made sure we had several different types of cookies on our table! I’ve also included some of our other favorite Halloween desserts and Halloween drinks!

Cookies are probably one of the easiest and most popular snacks. It’s super easy to turn a delicious cookie recipe into a Halloween theme. Some of the tricks we use include:
- Swap out the brown chocolate chips for Halloween colored chips.
- Use purple, orange, bright green frosting or food coloring.
- Use orange and yellow M&M’s or Reese’s Pieces.
- Add Halloween decorations like plastic spider rings on top
- Use Halloween themed sprinkles
Another reason Halloween cookies, or any cookies, make a good treat is because They store well. You can prep them ahead of time and pull them out just in time for your Halloween party! Additionally, many can be frozen in dough form and baked form. See specific recipe for details.

If you don’t decide to use all the extra candy for these cookies, you can save any non-themed candy and store it in the back of the refrigerator or pantry for Christmas or New Years!
