When looking for good recipes to share, I look for things like *how delicious it looks* how easy it is to make, and *is there the word grandmother in the title? Okay, not the last one, but I bet it would be great if there is indeed the word grandma in it. We like to bring you good recipes.
So, when I saw these “Grandma’s Honey Muffins”, I knew I had to try them! After all, we like muffins! After adjusting a little and making sure they are perfect, I turned to my taster. 🙂 Everyone loves these simple and sweet honey muffins! !
They are light and fluffy, with a little butter, they melt in the mouth! We decided to try agave (instead of honey) in this recipe and I am so glad we did. They are very sweet. We also decided to lower the oven temperature to 350 degrees, because everything baked at 400 degrees does not seem to be tasty. I hope you decide to try these and you will be glad you did.
Making sweet honey muffins
Prepare. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Dry ingredients. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a large bowl.
Wet ingredients. In a separate bowl, mix the eggs, milk, butter, and agave. Stir the wet ingredients into a dry one, mixing until wet.
Baking + serving. Fill the muffin cups with grease or liner paper three-quarters full. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Let cool for 5 minutes, then move to a metal rack. Serve hot.
