If you want the complete Zupa experience while eating this salad, be sure to pair it with soup, rolls, and finally with chocolate strawberries. đ
Zupa’s Imitation Recipe
I like to try new salad recipes, especially when they have homemade sauces. I do like my ranch dressing and Caesar dressing, but I like the custom dressing made specifically for salads, just like today’s creation.
This recipe is inspired by Zupa’s strawberry harvest salad. Have you been there? It is similar to Panera or Paradise Bakery and offers soups, salads and sandwiches. They have some great choices, but my favorite salad is this one.
The last time I ordered, I decided that I had to try to imitate the recipe. Even if you have never eaten this salad at Zupa’s, it is definitely worth a try. It has many wonderful flavors and is easy to make!
Ingredient hints and changes
How do I make pecan candy? You can buy candied pecans or make your own. You need Ÿ c chopped pecans, 1 œ tablespoons brown sugar, and œ tablespoons butter. Use a small nonstick pan.
Add all ingredients over medium heat. Stir constantly until the sugar and butter melt together. Continue stirring while caramelizing; about 2-3 minutes remaining. Pour a single layer of pecans into a pan to cool. You can also check out our recipe for candied pecans.
Variety:
- Use sour apples or sweet apples according to your preference.
- Add different berries such as blueberries or raspberries
- Add poppy seeds to the seasoning
- Use pear slices with apples or instead of apples.
- Try walnuts, cashews or almond flakes
- Use sheep cheese, blue cheese or goat cheese
You can assemble the salad a day in advance, But donât add seasonings until youâre ready to serve. You may also want to wait for the sliced ââstrawberries to prevent them from becoming mushy. Cover the salad and keep it in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve.
Cover the leftovers and store in the refrigerator. It will not keep for a long time, so you will want to finish it as soon as possible.
