Simple, fast, delicious… We are pretty sure you will like it as much as we do!
How to make strawberry banana smoothie:
Like all smoothies, this recipe is very simple and will be ready quickly.
This particular smoothie recipe is great because it contains simple ingredients that you probably already have: strawberries, bananas, yogurt, and milk.
To make, just pour all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Serve right away.
Leftovers. Any remaining smoothies can be kept in the refrigerator for about a day. Store smoothies in airtight containers. Make sure to fill the container to the top. The less air in the container, the better. Adding a bit of lemon or lime will also help prevent oxidation.
Smoothie substitutes and additives
What is a dairy substitute for smoothies? Replace the yogurt with some almond or cashew yogurt. Replace milk with soy milk, almond milk or coconut milk. These ingredients will provide the same consistency, but without lactose.
What are the health additives of smoothies? Add ½-1 teaspoon of any of the following substances: chia seeds, flax seeds, wheat germ, nutritional yeast, fiber. You can also add a scoop of protein powder. To sweeten it, use a sweetener such as ½ -1 tablespoon of honey or stevia.
What to serve with smoothie?
This smoothie tastes very delicious and refreshing. The kids love it! ! I hope to secretly add some spinach next time and see if the kids notice. I doubt they will even know! 😉 I’m drunk!
