- 2 cups frozen spinach, chopped and thawed
- 6 ounces artichoke hearts drained and chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 ounces cream cheese softened
- 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese, chopped and divided
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- Pepper to taste
- 1 tin seamless crescent dough
Preheat the oven to 375.
In a bowl, mix spinach, artichoke hearts, garlic and parmesan cheese. Add cream cheese and half of mozzarella cheese. Season with salt and pepper and set aside.
Using a rolling pin, place the dough on a cutting board and gently stretch it into an 8 x 12 rectangle. Cut the dough into 2 inch squares, so you have 24 squares in total.
Lightly grease a mini muffin tin, then place a square in each slot and push it down gently to form a dent. (You don’t need to shape the cup.)
Scoop a teaspoon of spinach mixture on top of each crescent-shaped cube, and then gently push it in (the bites will mold on your cans during baking). Spread the remaining mozzarella cheese on top of each cup.
Bake at 375 degrees for 15-17 minutes, until golden brown. Let it cool for 5-10 minutes before moving from the tray. Please enjoy!
