Tips + Variations

Chewy or cake-like brownies: It’s all personal, but for this recipe, you’ll probably want more cake so the brownies can better hold the weight of the chocolate and graham crackers. Great if you like chewier brownies too.

Layering is important: In this recipe, it’s important to place the Hershey chocolate chunks before adding the graham crackers and marshmallows. The melted chocolate acts as the glue, holding the other two ingredients to it. If you add the graham crackers first, the morel topping won’t stick to the bottom brownie layer.

Cut: The marshmallows are sticky, so it’s a little tricky to cut. A helpful tip is to spray your knife with cooking oil.

Giant Marshmallows: If you only have large marshmallows, cut them into quarters and serve on brownies and graham crackers. Also, no matter the size of the marshmallows, make sure they don’t get stale for best results.

How to bake: When you roast something, you choose the roast setting on the oven and let the heat only come from the top of the oven to roast the marshmallows.

Variety:

  • add some chocolate chips Drop into the brownie batter for a more melted chocolate flavor.
  • smash graham crackers sprinkle on top
  • use one Candy slices in different flavors Such as white chocolate or butterscotch.
