Disneyland Packing List

Disneyland Packing List

This post is sponsored by Kimberly Clark. As always, all opinions are 100% my own.

Call me a twist, but part of me is so excited about my kids staying home all day during the summer. I love my kids and I love the idea of spending time with them. However, when the break came, I realized it was a lot harder to get through that good time than I remembered. My husband and I are both busy with work hours and trying to keep the house clean with all the extra mess. One of the biggest battles is screen time! We’re always looking for a way to have a good screen-free time together that everyone loves. Before we knew it, we stumbled upon the perfect answer: road trips!

We were fortunate to partner with Kimberly-Clark on a Disneyland vacation and the world premiere of Disney’s Pixar Cars 3. It’s always a pleasure in my daily life when I’m able to work with products that I love and already use. As you will see, this partnership has made a big difference in how easy we travel.

With 5 young kids and one on the road, any family vacation can be either the great time I’ve dreamed of, or a stress ball full of disaster, emotional, grumpy. What’s the difference? I find it comes down to preparation, especially for the little things. To help you out with this, at the end of this post, I share a little secret tool to help you out! 😉 Some of the Kimberly-Clark products we absolutely needed and used for this trip included Huggies® One & Done® Wipes, Kleenex® Brand Kleenex, Pull-Ups® Training Pants, Viva® Wipes. Also found all of them designed with fun Disney Cars 3 artwork that my kids were happy to match with the movie.

The trip was great from start to finish. One of the biggest concerns for my husband and I is our 2 year old who is currently toilet trained. On a crowded plane, in a theater, on a hotel bed, in a line in a park, the last thing we want is an accident. Luckily, Pull-Ups are so comfortable that our daughter didn’t mind wearing them, and they have easy-to-open sides for quick and easy changes. Our daughters are happy all day, and so are we.

How can we? Even though I’m pregnant and can’t go to many rides, I’m still able to take part in my favorite Disneyland pastime – eating! We discovered a lot of delicious new food (and some old classics). Some of my favorites are…

Viva tissues came in handy after the Grizzly River run at California Adventure!

Unfortunately, it’s impossible to keep a child completely clean, especially mine. That’s why we always have Huggies One & Done Wipes on hand. One thing we really wanted to grab was the Dole Whip Marshmallow, unfortunately it was seasonal so we missed it by a month or so. Luckily, they also have two other cool flavors, Watermelon and Electric Marshmallow (imagine a marshmallow with Popucks in it)! Melotti will eat it all day, and probably will, since I think she only has a small portion in her mouth. The blue goo that’s been on her face and hair all the time is really stress-free because we just often have a wipe ready to wipe it off quickly. Fortunately they were soft and firm, so she didn’t mind.

The food was great, but the best part was the premiere of Disney’s Pixar Cars 3! We are not a fancy family at all! We were reminded of this at the event. It’s fun to all have matching outfits, but they don’t match for long. Somehow, stuff keeps spilling on my kids clothes, even my husband spills stuff on his pants! But if you must attend a big event, here’s a little secret, bring Huggies wipes! They’re great for removing stains – they dry quickly and don’t leave rings behind. (It’s my husband’s secret weapon for ties!) This movie is great and everyone loves it, especially my Wes! He loves cars and has a lot of fun! We affectionately call Wes “Goo” (in fact, he thinks it’s his real name). We call him that because he always seems to have something dripping from his mouth and nose. Fortunately, we always have Kleenex handy. They are super soft and pack in small pouches, making them perfect for bags and purses. 😉

I love this post-party pic at Disney California Adventure Auto Park below because of Goo’s expression. It’s been a long, good day and he’s not happy about having to give his best performance. He just wants to run around and there is so much to do! He wants to see all the cars, eat all the food, and his mean parents keep wanting to take pictures. 😉 This trip exceeded our expectations! And it wasn’t as stressful as my husband feared.

I talked about our secret weapon before, here it is: a Disneyland packing list, especially for families with kids and toddlers. With this, we haven’t forgotten a thing!

Disneyland Packing List:

I hope this list will come in handy as you prepare for a family adventure to the happiest place on earth! I know the last thing I want to worry about when going on vacation is finding and buying whatever items we forget at home.
