What do you call these cookies?
These delicious little cookies have several different names-peanut butter kiss cookies, hershey kiss cookies, peanut butter flowers…
No matter what you want to call them, they are classic favorites. We have been making them since I can remember, and our peanut butter cup cookies!
The peanut butter cookies are rolled with a little sugar, crystallized well on the outside, and soft and chewy on the inside. Then as soon as they come out of the oven, you will eat the chocolate Hershey’s Kiss which of course makes them irresistible (if you are a fan of PB and chocolate, you fully understand what I mean).

Wet ingredients. In a large bowl, mix the two sugars, peanut butter, butter, and eggs. notes: Both butter or margarine are suitable for this recipe, but we like to use butter.
Dry ingredients. Add flour, baking soda and baking powder until a dough is formed.
Roll the dough. Shape the dough into 1-inch balls; roll in extra granulated sugar. Place on unoiled biscuit slices about 2 inches apart.
bake. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until the edges are light golden brown.
kiss. Immediately press 1 kiss in the center of each cookie. Move from the cookie sheet to the cooling rack.
tip: Refrigerate the dough before baking. Cold dough helps prevent them from spreading. It will also do well on the outside while leaving the center soft and chewy.
