Delicious Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies (aka Peanut Butter Flower) are soft, chewy peanut butter cookies with delicious Hershey Kisses on top! Everyone loves this delicious and simple cookie recipe.

This is one of our favorite cookie recipes for cookie swaps and parties, because everyone loves them! Some of our other favorites include M&M biscuits, white chocolate macadamia nuts and sugar biscuits.

These delicious little cookies have several different names-peanut butter kiss cookies, hershey kiss cookies, peanut butter flowers…

No matter what you want to call them, they are classic favorites. We have been making them since I can remember, and our peanut butter cup cookies!

The peanut butter cookies are rolled with a little sugar, crystallized well on the outside, and soft and chewy on the inside. Then as soon as they come out of the oven, you will eat the chocolate Hershey’s Kiss which of course makes them irresistible (if you are a fan of PB and chocolate, you fully understand what I mean).

It’s easy to do!

It’s hard not to like the combination of peanut butter and chocolate in these cookies, but we especially like them so simple! This is how to make them…

Wet ingredients. In a large bowl, mix the two sugars, peanut butter, butter, and eggs. notes: Both butter or margarine are suitable for this recipe, but we like to use butter.

Dry ingredients. Add flour, baking soda and baking powder until a dough is formed.

Roll the dough. Shape the dough into 1-inch balls; roll in extra granulated sugar. Place on unoiled biscuit slices about 2 inches apart.

bake. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until the edges are light golden brown.

kiss. Immediately press 1 kiss in the center of each cookie. Move from the cookie sheet to the cooling rack.

tip: Refrigerate the dough before baking. Cold dough helps prevent them from spreading. It will also do well on the outside while leaving the center soft and chewy.

Storage and freezing

How to store Hershey’s Kiss cookies: Peanut Butter Kiss biscuits will stay fresh in an airtight container (at room temperature) for about 5 days.

Can peanut butter flowers be frozen? Yes, biscuits can be frozen. Let them cool completely before freezing. Put the biscuits in an airtight container and freeze for up to 6 months.

Can cookie dough be frozen? The peanut butter cookie dough can be frozen in advance. Place the dough balls on the cookie sheets to quickly freeze them. Freeze for about 2 hours or until it freezes outside. Place the ball in a sealed freezer safe container. Freeze safely for 4-6 months.

Baking: Take out the required number of dough balls. Allow to thaw on the biscuits. Bake according to the recipe and put a Hershey Kiss on it.
