Our all-time favorite hot fudge sauce is a family favorite. You only need 4 ingredients – butter, chocolate chips, powdered sugar and evaporated milk.

We love serving this fudge sauce on ice cream, funnel cakes and even fruit! It’s irresistible in every sense, and you’ll find yourself trying not to eat it straight from the jar!

This Homemade Chocolate Fudge Sauce is an easy and delicious recipe for any dessert. We use it on ice cream, especially funnel cake (a recipe I shared earlier today). It takes minutes to assemble and really is the best topping you’ll ever make!

I also love that this is an easy and inexpensive gift idea. Just put it in a lovely mason jar with a ribbon on top and I guarantee the recipient will love you forever.

How to Make Hot Fudge Sauce

As mentioned, you only need 4 ingredients:

  • powdered sugar
  • butter
  • evaporated milk
  • semisweet chocolate chips

Once you’ve gathered the ingredients, you add them to a medium saucepan.

Bring to a boil and cook for 8 minutes, stirring constantly. Enjoy almost anything!
