Cranberry Sauce Prep Information
This time of year, make-ahead dishes make my life a lot easier. That’s one of the reasons I love this cranberry sauce recipe. Make it a week in advance and store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Perfect! !
It also freezes beautifully! To prevent freezer burn, make sure to keep it in an airtight freezer-safe container. Use it within two months for best results. Let it thaw overnight in the refrigerator before you’re ready to serve.
Cranberry Sauce is delicious with just about every other Thanksgiving/Holiday dish. Serve it on the side of the roast turkey. Spread it on soft homemade rolls. Or combine it with your mashed potato and green bean casserole. No matter how you eat it, it’s the most delicious side dish that will never go out of style!
You really have to make your own because it’s better than any canned version. Honestly, it will be a staple of your holiday party. 😉
