Greek Pasta Salad with Feta Cheese (+ Video)

This delicious Greek Pasta Salad features pasta rotini, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, and feta cheese, and is topped with a delicious Greek dressing! It is very light and refreshing.

Refreshing pasta salads are a must for summer. The Greek flavors in this recipe are very unique, similar to the Asian flavors in an Asian noodle salad, or the Mexican flavors in a taco pasta salad!

Pasta Salad with Feta

I’ve always loved pasta salads and salad recipes, but find myself craving them even more in the spring and summer. We have our go-to salads and pasta dishes that we’ve made over the years, but in Greek cuisine, I wanted to try the Greek pasta salad version.

Many of the ingredients you can usually find in Greek food include:

  • olives
  • herbal
  • Feta (my favorite!!)
  • tomato

I want to make sure all of this and more is in the recipe to give it that Greek flavor I love so much! We added some cilantro, cucumbers, our favorite tricolor rotini and a delicious Greek dressing.

It turned out amazing and tasted so much that we knew others would love it too.

Dress is the key

Using the perfect seasoning is key to this Greek pasta dish. You can find many different options in stores, but my current favorite is this Light Greek Vinaigrette from Cardini’s. It’s not too heavy, but has all the goodness of a Greek dressing.

Having said that, I’d love to hear what your current favorite Greek seasonings are. Whether it’s the dressing or the vinaigrette, it should enhance all the flavors already in this pasta dish, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do. 😉

Add and replace:

This recipe is my favorite Greek pasta salad, but you can easily add, subtract, or substitute some of your favorite ingredients. Here are some suggestions:

  • Add: Grilled Chicken, Shrimp
  • Added: red onions, sun-dried tomatoes, green/red peppers, chickpeas, peppers
  • Feta substitutes: Other Greek cheeses include: Graviera, Mizithra, Anthotiro, Manour, Ricotta, Halloumi, Goat Cheese
  • Rotini Substitutes: Use other bite-sized pastas such as macaroni, elbows, shells, turmeric,

One of the reasons I love this salad is that you can do it in advance and cover it in the refrigerator. I also recommend reserving a portion of the dressing to add just before serving. If you have any leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-5 days.
