Menu planner
Planning the menu may be the most stressful part of Thanksgiving-but it shouldn’t be that difficult.
Using our planner, you can keep track of the number of visitors, figure out what decorations or “extras” you are going to do, make menus and tasks, and create shopping lists for everything you will do.
Tip: Be sure to find the menu in early November, not the week of Thanksgiving. Many commodities tend to be sold out. You can purchase many commodities that can be frozen in advance, such as:
- Meat (turkey, ham, etc.)
- Potato cakes (used in potato casseroles, such as funeral potatoes)
- Frozen vegetables on the side
- Cheese-chopped
- Dessert ingredients (and desserts such as pies)
- Concentrated fruit juice (for beverages)
Other items that can be stored in the refrigerator or storage room for at least a week include:
- Dipping sauce
- biscuits
- Canned food
- Cheese (for dinner plates and appetizers)
- Candy (for guests to chew)
Keep on track
We know that they may be frantically preparing food the day before and on Thanksgiving, but this Thanksgiving timetable template can help you stay on track.
First of all-be sure to print out all your recipes the week before Thanksgiving. Use it to add to the shopping list above, and then write down the recipes that can be made in advance and the recipes that need to be made on your schedule the weekend before.
As a small tip, we try to make sure that we have a variety of recipes (stove, oven, Instant Pop) that can cook differently, so that you donât overload any appliances or try to bake too many things at once. Distribute according to how the food is cooked The food is also very good, so that no one is allowed to bake 4 kinds of things at the same time.
Note: We have printed materials with time listed and printed materials without time listed. đ
If you have leftovers…
Usually, by the end of Thanksgiving, everyone will be full. There are usually a lot of uneaten foods, and everyone wants leftovers.
These Thanksgiving leftovers labels are a great thing. They can be printed and cut out and pasted on containers for guests to take away the leftovers.
We like to take these out so that there is not too much food left at home so that everyone can go home and enjoy a good time.
We have orange and white tags, so be sure to download the tags you want to use.
We hope this Thanksgiving menu template and timetable can help you solve all the crazy events that happen next week. We all know that things can get busy and hectic, but there is really nothing better than getting together with family to spend time chatting and enjoying each other’s company. đ
