Roasted Zucchini Fries Recipe (+Video)

These grilled zucchini sticks are crusted and baked in Panko, Parmesan cheese, oregano and basil. Zucchini fries are healthy and delicious!

I have shared how we make fried zucchini and parmesan zucchini in the past, but today I want to share a recipe for grilled zucchini fries.

Roasted zucchini sticks-so easy!

We like zucchini! !

This is no secret in our house, especially because we have been buying it! It is a versatile vegetable, you can use it to make a variety of side dishes, and even put it in desserts (such as our chocolate zucchini cake) to make you feel a little healthy. 😉

Today’s recipe is one of our favorite ways to enjoy zucchini-zucchini fries! They only need a small amount of ingredients and about 15 minutes of preparation, let me tell you, these grilled zucchini sticks are nice and crispy.

This is a great side dish for any meal-especially Italian dishes, even grilled meats or steaks. We ate these zucchini sticks and pasta last week, and they quickly disappeared. We sometimes serve these as appetizers with homemade ranch sauce or marila sauce, but they are also great on their own!

How to make zucchini fries

We love that these are so simple! ! This is all you have to do…

Prepare. First cut the zucchini into long spears. Then rinse and dry.

coat. In the Ziploc bag, mix the breadcrumbs, cheese, and seasonings, and then mix. From there, you will whisk the eggs in the bowl. Put a few zucchini strips into the eggs and wrap them. Then put them in a zipper bag and shake them until they are completely covered by the seasoning. Continue until all the zucchini sticks are coated.

bake. Line a baking sheet with foil, then place all the zucchini fries on the baking sheet. Bake at 350° for about 16-20 minutes.

Serve. When they just come out of the oven, eat them immediately.

Dipping Sauce + Air Fryer Instructions

Parmesan cheese tastes very good and I like these zucchini sticks without any dip or sauce.

However, if you wish, you can definitely add extra flavor. Ranch Dressing and Marinara sauce are both good choices.

Air fryer: If you want to make a healthy fried version, try an air fryer. Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees. Spray the basket with cooking spray, then place the zucchini strips in a single layer. Make sure they are not touching to maximize airflow. Stir-fry for about 8-10 minutes.

Isn’t it simple? ! We must note that they are best eaten fresh. Just like our fried zucchini, this type of recipe is best taken out of the oven or pan. But trust me, we think you will agree and love how simple these productions are.
