Every week, I’ll share with you a free meal plan that includes 5 dinner ideas (Monday-Thursday plus a weekend meal), 2 side dishes, and 1 dessert!

This includes a grocery list with every ingredient needed for all items in the meal plan.

This is to help simplify menu planning, shopping and cooking, making it easier for you to dine with your family throughout the week!

Tips of the week

Ever heard of (or tried) Gnocchi before? Gnocchi is a traditional Italian potato dumpling that is small, thick and soft. They are usually made from potatoes, semolina or flour and served with a sauce.

Meal Plan Benefits

There’s nothing worse than fear when family members ask, “What’s for dinner?” And your answer is “I don’t know”. A week meal plan eliminates that completely, and it’s the number one benefit in my book!

In addition to developing a game plan, there are Several other benefits meal plan, include:

  • cost: When you have a plan and a specific grocery list in place, you can eliminate the cost of wasting on impulse items or products you never use.
  • reduce waste: No money wasted, no food wasted! Having a regular shopping list will help avoid both problems.
  • type: Our meal plans specifically include a variety of options, including Mexican, Italian, dinner breakfast, and more! You can let your family taste a variety of cuisines.
  • No indecision: Did you know there is “indecision fatigue”? The idea is that when you can’t decide something (like what to do for dinner), it actually wears you out mentally. But when dinner is already planned, you can avoid indecision altogether!

If you’re a fan of Mexican food, you’ll love this lasagna recipe! Flour tortillas are layered with loads of cheese, shredded chicken, Las Palmas green chile enchiladas, black beans, corn, and loads of seasonings! !

If you’re ambitious, you can use homemade flour tortillas in this recipe. Make sure you have some salsa and guacamole!

Pesto Gnocchi

This bright and fresh pesto gnocchi will be your summer treat. It’s bold, full of flavor and absolutely delicious!

Pesto gnocchi is full of fresh vegetables, but if you want to add some protein, shredded chicken is a great option. Cheesy Garlic Bread (an aspect of the week) is a must too!

Biscuits and Gravy

This classic biscuit and gravy recipe is one everyone knows and loves! Delicious butter cookies wrapped in homemade sausage gravy! It only requires a few simple ingredients and is perfect for breakfast (dinner) or holiday mornings!

This can be a hearty breakfast, so we like to pair it with something light and fresh, like a fruit salad or berry smoothie.

Cobb Salad

Filled with delicious ingredients, this easy Cobb Salad is literally a meal. It’s quick to make and delicious.

This salad is rich enough on its own, but it can also be paired with a simple tomato basil soup and easy sourdough rolls.

Teriyaki Chicken Burger

Marinated Teriyaki Chicken Burgers are quick, easy, and full of sweet, tangy flavor! Grilled pineapple makes these burgers perfect.

Of course, homemade fries (another side dish in this week’s meal plan) are the ultimate companion to these chicken burgers!

Our two choices

Cheesy Garlic Bread is by far our favorite garlic bread recipe. It takes minutes to assemble, and it’s pretty cheesy and delicious. It’s the perfect side dish for any meal, especially pasta and Italian dishes!

Sometimes if we have extra time, we make homemade baguettes for this recipe!

Homemade French Fries Totally worth the effort and better than restaurant chips. They are crunchy and salty to perfection!

Make sure to have some homemade deep-fried soy sauce for dipping when you serve it with your burgers this week.

Brownie Delight

Brownie Delight is a delicious 4-layer dessert that is cool, creamy and chocolatey. Refreshing!
