This is the time of year when I bake as much as possible in the kitchen. Not only does it warm up the house, but nothing beats the taste of freshly baked goods! don’t you agree?
I also love to bake and bring sweets to nearby neighbors and friends. In fact, every year my mom, sisters and SIL get together to bake goodies, exchange treats and make cookie plates to give to friends. I was so sad when I realized I couldn’t do that year now in Texas. That all changed when my mom suggested this week that we wait until next week when I’m in town to do it – yay! ! Of course, my TX friends won’t get anything, but I have to think of some other good stuff for them. đ
