The current salad obsession
We are very fascinated by the Caesar Chicken Salad here-it really is one of my favorite salads!
We want to share a simple version of this recipe, and we like its results. It contains bacon, chicken, boiled eggs, cherry tomatoes, croutons, parmesan cheese, and of course Caesar sauce. This is definitely not your classic Caesar salad-it is the ultimate! ! Simple and delicious!
The real star of this salad is the seasoning. If there was no Caesar dressing, it would definitely not be a Caesar salad. I used Marzetti® Simply Dressed® Caesar Salad Dressing. It is made of some simple ingredients without preservatives or artificial flavors to enhance the freshness and natural flavor of the salad.
How to make chicken Caesar salad
The salad itself is easy to make. The ingredients you use are easy to change, but in our ingredients, we include:
Chick. In order to do this, we used a lined pan to bake the chicken and bacon in the oven at the same time, which makes it easier to clean up. If you want, you can also grill chicken. I keep the seasoning simple and usually just add some salt, garlic pepper and some olive oil to the chicken breast. Bake each side over medium heat for 4-5 minutes.
You can use leftover chicken from the previous night to make this recipe easier.
Other fixtures. I already have a few hard-boiled eggs in the refrigerator, so when baking things, I slice them with cherry tomatoes. For the greens, I insist on using romaine lettuce, but you can definitely add some mixed greens or kale.
dressing. When everything was ready, I stirred it with some Marzetti® Simply Dressed® Caesar Dressing and sprinkled with a little freshly ground black pepper. too delicious. Our family ate it up in a few seconds. You can also try our homemade Caesar sauce!
We will definitely make this version time and time again, because it is very simple!
Save in advance
Can you make Caesar salad in advance? Yes, you can! If you make it ahead of time, we recommend that you chop up chicken, tomatoes, and bacon and store them separately before eating. Cut the eggs before serving, add seasonings and bread cubes before serving.
How to store leftover salad? If your salad has been left at room temperature for 2 hours or more, it may no longer be safe to eat, so continue to throw it away. If leftovers are still safe to eat, they can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Remember that the croutons will not remain crispy, and the vegetables will gradually wither and soak, so don’t wait too long to finish this delicious salad.
