Who likes salad here? We do this, and we especially like the dressing that comes with it!

I especially want to eat delicious salads in spring. One of my favorite salads is Caesar salad. We have a simple chicken Caesar salad on the website, but today we are going to share a homemade version.

This homemade seasoning is simple and very good. To make a salad, all you have to do is mix the seasoning and homemade croutons with some chopped romaine lettuce and chopped parmesan cheese, and you can have a full Caesar salad. It tastes like it came from a restaurant, and it is very easy to make.

If you crave salad as much as I do now, then you definitely want to try this homemade Caesar salad dressing with homemade croutons. 🙂

How to make Caesar dressing

I have already told you that this seasoning is not easy to make! Most of the ingredients are what you might have eaten in the kitchen, except for anchovy sauce. 😉

I know anchovy sauce sounds disgusting, but trust me, when you mix them together, it helps to give the seasoning a unique flavor that you know and love.

I suggest you Freshly squeezed lemon juice, But if you have a bottled one, that’s okay.

Just mix! To make the dressing, just mix all the ingredients together (a blender is probably the fastest and easiest way) and store in the refrigerator until you are ready to use it in a salad!

Frequently Asked Questions About Dress

Can you make Caesar sauce without anchovy sauce? Feel free to omit the anchovy sauce. It will have a slightly different taste, but it will still taste great.

To be honest, most restaurants use real anchovies in their sauce! We didn’t even notice it most of the time. This is from someone who hates seafood! Once it’s all mixed into a delicious seasoning, I’d better not consider anchovies. 😉

Does homemade Caesar sauce need to be refrigerated? Yes. Because of the mayonnaise, the seasoning needs to be kept in the refrigerator. It will stay in good condition for up to 1 week.

Can homemade Caesar dressing be frozen? The dairy products in the seasoning, especially mayonnaise, freeze well, but may not defrost well. I do not recommend freezing the dressing because the thawing results may not be ideal. But you can try at your own risk anytime!
