Best Banana Nut Bread
Baked banana bread makes me so happy. I’m not in a bad mood when I know the banana bread is cooking in the oven. The aroma of nut bread fills my whole house and everyone knows something good is coming. It was moist and flavorful, with a little crunch from the toasted walnuts. If I’m not careful, I might eat the whole loaf. đ

I like to have a slice at breakfast or as a pick-me-up in the afternoon. Sometimes my family even eats it for dessert – just heat it in the microwave for 10 seconds and serve it with vanilla ice cream. delicious!
How to Make Banana Nut Bread
This recipe makes about two banana nut bread pans – because one isn’t enough!
grease. Grease two loaf pans and preheat oven to 350 degrees.
wet ingredients. In a mixer, beat together sugar, oil and eggs. Add vanilla, sour cream and bananas.
If sour cream is not available, use Greek yogurt instead. Sometimes I mash the bananas individually and add them to the mixture. Very ripe bananas work best – they need at least some black, soft bananas as they make the bread moister and tastier.

combine. The dry mix is ââthen added to the wet mix and mixed well. Feel free to add chocolate chips to the batter! You can even add it to half of the batter so you have a regular loaf and a chocolate chip.

- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup oil
- 3 eggs
- 3 teaspoons vanilla
- 12 ounces sour cream
- 4 ripe bananas
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 envelope whipped topping
- 1 cup chopped toasted walnuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray two large loaf pans with spray or grease and flour.
