Easy Baked Salmon Recipe + video

There are some entrees that look fancier than they really are, and grilled salmon is one of them! It’s almost effortless to make. Similar to our Grilled BBQ Chicken, you just marinate and bake!

Salmon contains many beneficial nutrients. It’s very high in protein, Omega-3 fatty acids (which help lower blood pressure), and it may help reduce the risk of heart disease (all of which are great!)
This salmon is also baked in the oven, which makes it a piece of cake for dinner. You can have this salmon ready, baked and ready to eat in under 40 minutes.

Grilled Salmon Seasoning + Variations
This salmon marinade is pretty simple. The ingredients are as follows:
- minced garlic
- olive oil
- dried basil
- garlic salt
- black pepper
- lemon juice
- fresh parsley
casually switch between different ingredients for different tastes or flavors. You can add a little rosemary, or sprinkle a little paprika to taste! If you want to indulge a bit, add a few slices of butter on top of each fillet.
How to Grill Salmon
Prepare. Preheat oven to 375 degrees before starting to prepare salmon. Prepare the marinade by mixing the garlic, olive oil, basil, garlic salt, pepper, lemon juice, and parsley in a medium bowl. Mix it up.
pickled. Grease a baking sheet and place the salmon fillets in it. Pour the marinade over the salmon, making sure the salmon is coated with the marinade on all sides.
bake. Bake the salmon uncovered in the oven for 35 minutes. The internal temperature of the salmon should reach 145 degrees after cooking.
tip: I do want to point out that unless you’re poaching salmon, You should be left with skin. It will protect the bottom of the salmon from overcooking. The skin will slide off the cooked fillets.

You can cook salmon at different temperatures. Be sure to adjust the cooking time.
- 450 degrees – 10-12 minutes
- 425 degrees – 12-14 minutes
- 400 degrees – 18-20 minutes
- 375 degrees – 20-25 minutes
- 350 degrees – 30-35 minutes
If you don’t have a meat thermometer, you can check doneness by inserting a fork or knife in the center of the fillet.
- Perfect Cook: The outside is opaque. The flesh in the middle should separate easily and look translucent pink.
- Undercooked: The meat is not well separated and looks completely translucent.
- Overcooked: It will flake and look opaque. Also, the longer the fish cooks, the longer it will start to form a white film on it. There will be plenty of overcooked salmon.
arrive Store any leftover grilled salmon, wrap in foil or plastic wrap and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It should last 3 to 4 days. Wrap it up and store in the refrigerator the same way, it will keep for 4 to 6 months.
