Easter Cookie Jar Gift

Easter Cookie Jar Gift

I know it’s not St. Patrick’s Day yet, but I know many of you are already looking for Easter ideas. I know I am at least. 😉

Today’s idea is a super cute and easy gift idea perfect for Easter teachers, neighbors, friends and family. I figured, since I’ve been sharing cookie jar gifts for almost every holiday so far, I should make one for Easter too. That’s right – I’ve been looking for easy gift ideas for neighbors and sisters I visit who teach at church and this one is perfect. From start to finish, it only took about 10 minutes in total (gap because of the lid spray painting, of course), but it was so easy and the results were so lovely.

If you’re looking to make this Easter cookie jar gift for your loved ones and friends, here’s what you need:

Supplies:

– quart jar

– cookie ingredients (see below)

– printable (see below)

– Scissors

– twine/ribbon

– scrapbook paper

route:

1. Clean your jar and let it dry completely.

**If you want to paint the lid, please spray paint and allow to dry. I also added a coat of spray polyurethane. Let it dry completely.

2. Fill your jar. Start with 1 ½ cups flour, ½ tsp. Baking soda, 1/s tsp. Baking Powder, ½ tsp. Salt.

Then add ½ cup brown sugar, then ½ cup sugar.

Then add 2/3 cup milk chocolate chips.

Complement with 2/3 cup Easter M&Ms.

3. From there you need to download the tab – at the bottom of the post.

I recommend printing on card stock so the recipe is more durable for later use.

4. Cut and tape it to your jar (or use glue dots), then tie some twine or ribbon on top.

Voila!

Simple and cute! ! I know you can find such gifts already made, but they are usually more expensive and less cute. 😉

I think we’ll make these for the kids’ teachers too. 🙂
