Adobo’s jalapenos: Jalapenos are dry smoked jalapenos, but adobo sauce provides flavor and heat. Adobo sauce is a mixture of tomato puree, vinegar, garlic, chili powder, pepper, cumin and other spices, depending on the brand.
- You can find cans in the Mexican food aisles.
- Only use one Pepper in the tin. If you like spicy seasoning, use 2 chilies. You can also adjust the spice level by adding some adobo sauce.
- If you want to make the seasoning more fluid, we suggest adding a little milk to dilute the mixture.
