Buffalo Chicken Bites made with crescent rolls

Buffalo Chicken Bites made with crescent rolls

Buffalo Chicken Bites are made with spicy buffalo chicken wrapped in a buttery crescent dough and served with a delicious blue cheese ranch dressing.

Crescent dough comes in handy when making small appetizers. For example, try cranberry biscuits or spinach dip, all wrapped in crescent dough!

spicy bites

I’ve loved Buffalo Wings for as long as I can remember because my mom has been making them since I was a kid. You could call them family favorites, especially since they show up at most family events and gatherings.

I also love all kinds of buffalo flavored things, which is what inspired me to make these buffalo chicken bites. It’s essentially buffalo chicken wrapped in a piece of dough in a crescent shape for a spicy and spicy appetizer.

When I first made them, they were really soft and packed with so much flavor that they were gone within minutes. Next time, I think I’ll try a different flavor like grilled chicken bites because I think that’s great too.

how to make them

Prepare. Preheat oven to 400.

ingredients. Combine Parmesan cheese and 1 teaspoon ranch mixture in a bowl and set aside.

dressing. In another bowl, combine mayonnaise, milk, and other ranch mixture for dipping sauce. Stir in blue cheese and refrigerate.

filling. In another bowl combine chicken, cheddar and chicken wing sauce.

gather. Spread out the crescent cubes and add 1 TB chicken mixture to the center of each cube. Pull the corners together and pinch to seal. Place on a greased baking sheet, seam side down.

bake. Refresh moon dough with melted butter, then sprinkle with Parmesan mixture. Bake for 15-16 minutes. Serve with blue cheese ranch dressing and enjoy!

sealed dough: We opted to pinch the corners and bake them sealing side down so they would have a smooth top. However, I saw a photo of them being baked with the sealed side up and it looked neat. Another photo I saw was simply folding the dough over the chicken and sealing the sides together with a fork.

whichever option you choose Yes Make sure the seams are sealed So the mixture inside doesn’t ooze out while baking.

Turn up the temperature: If you really like HOT Wing, use a hotter buffalo sauce and add some red pepper flakes on top of the dough before baking. That way, if you make different kinds, you’ll know which ones are hot.

time saving tips

do it in advance:

  • You can prepare the ground chicken ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator until you’re ready to assemble and bake.
  • You can assemble them but not bake them right away. Place them in the refrigerator for up to 2 hours before baking.
  • You can bake them, cool them, and store them in the refrigerator or freezer until you’re ready to heat them up and serve. If frozen, thaw, heat oven to 350°F and bake until elevated throughout, about 8-10 minutes.

Another time saving method is Use cooked roast chicken or canned chicken. Simply chop before use.
