Recipe tips

I like how delicious these candy apples look. They are the perfect Halloween treat!if you want Beautify them a bit I came across some ideas on how to do this. Be creative and enjoy!

  • Use thin tube white icing to add Spooky grimace On the coating
  • Create a rustic and magical appearance Use a sharp stick From your yard instead of straw. Be sure to wash and dry them first.
  • Place one Spider ring Around the bottom of each straw
  • Add various Candy eyeball Black coating throughout

If you cannot maintain the coating on the apple, please try the following:

  • Keep the coating hot enough to melt together, but not so hot that it will slip off immediately.
  • After washing off the wax on the apple, use fine sandpaper to polish the cuticle, but don’t break the cuticle. This will cause the candy coating to form “grooves” for adhesion.
  • Make sure that the apples are cold-dried.

You may notice some coating pools, or “candy feet” on the bottom of the apple. I kind of like this look. The black coating on the feet makes it even more creepy. However, if you prefer Get rid of “candy feet” Just trim off the larger part, and then gently smooth the remaining coating with your fingers.
