Grilled BLT Dipping Sauce

I am happy to share with you the recipe for this delicious party dip—BLT dip—inspired by the classic three ingredients.

Usually, when people refer to BLT, they are referring to sandwiches that only contain the following three ingredients:

Therefore, the abbreviation “BLT”. So simple, but so delicious. I tell you that these three ingredients are destined to be combined. That’s why we decided to try this BLT Dip Recipe!

As I mentioned earlier, this is a cheese cream dipping sauce with BLT sandwich ingredients, which turned out to be more delicious than we thought.

How to make BLT dipping sauce

This BLT Dip is very simple to put together. Here are the steps to complete the recipe:

bacon. Boil the bacon in a large frying pan and place it on a paper towel to drain. The bacon is cooled and crushed.

Combine. In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise, sour cream, cream cheese, shredded cheese and bacon (if you want, you can keep a part of the bacon and add it after the dipping sauce is baked).

bake. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.

(notes: If you don’t want to bake your dipping sauce, but eat it cold, it’s totally fine. I might omit the shredded cheese because if it does not melt, it will not mix with other ingredients. But if the texture doesn’t bother you, you can keep it at any time. )

optimal. Put tomatoes and lettuce on top before serving (if you save some, the remaining bacon will crumble).

What kind of dish do you use to serve the BLT dipping sauce? I think large and shallow plates, such as glass pie plates, are best for this dipping sauce. If you are baking the dipping sauce, it obviously must be oven-safe, preferably glass. If you are cold, it is not so important. 😉

What to eat with BLT Dip

BLTs are usually a sandwich, so a good thing to do with this dipping sauce is toasted sandwich bread with butter and cut into triangles. Some other delicious foods that can be used include:

  • Cookies like Liz
