3-ingredient peanut butter cookie recipe

Quick, easy and delicious 3-ingredient peanut butter cookies. They can be put together in just a few minutes, and kids can easily make them!

I’m about simple cookie recipes-simple ingredients and simple instructions! Believe it or not, these biscuits are easier than no-bake biscuits or slimy butter biscuits made with cake flour! !

There are only 3 ingredients!

One of the things I hate the most is when I start to make a recipe, only to find that I missed an ingredient. The worst! It is easy to come up with a quick substitute, but baking is a science. You cannot simply change the ingredients and expect your finished product to be perfect and taste just right.

So, when we see this simple PB biscuit recipe, only 3 ingredients are needed, we just have to give it a try!

We have always been big fans of regular peanut butter cookies. Although we doubted that these only 3 ingredients would taste great, we were totally wrong! These PB biscuits are surprisingly delicious, you don’t have to worry about missing any ingredients. All you need is:

  • peanut butter
  • sugar
  • An egg

How to make 3 ingredient lead biscuits

It’s easy to make these cookies!

Just mix the ingredients together, roll into a ball, press the cross pattern on the top with a fork and bake for 10 minutes. To be honest, it only takes about 15 minutes from start to finish, and it’s very easy, kids can do it by themselves without messing it up. 😉

Recipe description:

  • You can use brown sugar instead of white sugar, or half and half.
  • For a lighter texture, add an extra egg. It will make the dough stickier, so you won’t be able to roll it. Just use a cookie spoon to plop the dough on the cookie sheet.
  • Let cool for 15-20 minutes before scooping and baking-this will help prevent them from spreading too much.

Variety: Chocolate chips or chocolate frosting on top. You can also make them into sandwiches with vanilla frosting or vanilla ice cream in the middle.

What is the best peanut butter? It is not recommended to use natural peanut butter, because the texture is completely different and the biscuits will not get better. Your best bet is to stick to something smooth and creamy like JIF, Skippy, or even general store brands.

notes: Higher altitudes may require different baking times. Observe carefully to prevent them from burning.

Storage skills

How to preserve dough: Cover the bowl and put the dough in the refrigerator for about 2 days. You can also make the dough into biscuits and quickly freeze them on the biscuit slices. After freezing, place the biscuits in a freezer-safe airtight container and separate the biscuit layers with parchment paper. Freeze for 3-4 months.

How to store baked cookies: Store the baked biscuits in an airtight container for about 3-5 days. You can also freeze and bake biscuits. Place the biscuits in an airtight freezer-safe container and separate the layers with parchment paper. Freeze for up to 6 months.

Who doesn’t want a simple and delicious PB biscuit that only takes 15 minutes from start to finish? Yes, that’s what I think. 😉 If you try it, please let us know that they will leave.
