Taste the Disney magic!
I have to say that a lot of people, myself included, go to Disney to enjoy the food as they go to the rides. The food is truly amazing and I have a list of favorite dishes to bring Disney magic into your very own kitchen.
Whether you’re trying to make a full Disney-themed meal or just a simple Disney dish, I’ve got several sweet and savory recipes for you to try. Each recipe post has different tips and tricks to help you recreate the perfect dish.
In addition to these parody Disney recipes, you can use the infamous Mickey-shaped ears to turn many dishes into “Disney” dishes. Who hasn’t made Mickey Mouse pancakes with their bisquick mix? ! Crispy Rice Krispies in the shape of Mickey Mouse are another easy way to make them. You can also check out our Mickey Mouse Cupcakes and Mickey Mouse Oreos.
Host a Disney-themed party
Disney is a huge kingdom that includes everything from Snow White to Star Wars, and the ideas for party themes are endless. Whether you’re hosting a kid’s birthday party or an adult dinner party, here are some Disneyland themed ideas you might enjoy using.
- Red, white and black are Mickey and Minnie’s signature colors. You can use these colors, along with red with white polka dots, in various ways to decorate a space.
- Fun directional signs at the front entrance to the most popular Disney attractions like Radiator Springs and Toon Town
- There is a Disney photo booth. A classic Disney castle would be a nice backdrop. If you feel up to the task, use a green screen and plug in a different Disney background.
- Comes with Mickey Mouse ears to wear. If there are kids, there is a craft table they can make themselves.
- Get some Disneyland maps and use them as placemats.
- Let guests, young and old, dress up as their favorite Disney characters
- Create playlists of your favorite Disney movie songs.
- Marking your food with Disney references is a fun way to showcase different Disney movies. For example, a plate of Jack Jack Num Num Cookies could have a tagline that says “Num Num Cookie” (The Incredibles). Label the drink “Drink ME” (Alice in Wonderland).
