Mint + Oreo Sundae – Oogie Boogie Style

We love all the seasonal food at Walt Disney World in the fall!

One treat you can find in Disney Springs is Oogie Boogie Worms N Dirt Sundae. It is a mixture of mint chocolate ice cream, crushed Oreos, green whipped cream and worms.

This recipe is easy to reproduce and very delicious! If you want to spend a particularly scary night, please open up the nightmare before Christmas, make these sundaes and have a small party with your family. I guarantee that these sundaes are very popular. 😉

How to make + tips

To start this recipe, you need to have whipped cream (store-bought or homemade). Add your green food coloring, mix and set aside.

From there, you will first layer crushed cookie crumbs, some sticky worms, and a scoop of ice cream to make a sundae. Continue layering and top it up with your green whipped cream, crumbled biscuits and worm glue!

Recipe notes:

Turn green: I went to the frozen food section to find more green ice cream. If you don’t like mint, I also saw pistachio almond ice cream and green tea ice cream. You can also soften the vanilla ice cream, mix it with green food coloring, and put it back in the refrigerator to harden it.

Make it more mint: Use mint Oreo, sprinkle with chopped Andean mint

Bring error: In addition to adding worm gummy candies, you can also find other worm candies. It’s October, and you should be able to find bug candy in the Halloween candy section.

Turn it into ice cream cake

ice cream cake: Use the same ingredients to easily make Oogie Boogie ice cream cakes. Just use the same ingredients (you need at least 6 cups of mint ice cream and a full pack of Oreos). Then, just follow the simple instructions below:

  1. Line the pan with parchment paper.
  2. Press a layer of Oreo crumbs in a pan, then add the softened mint ice cream.
  3. Frozen until solid.
  4. Lift the parchment paper and remove the cake from the pan.
  5. Decorate the cake with green whipped cream, worm fudge, and any other oogy boogy toppings you find
  6. Soften slightly before serving.

Another great way to provide this kind of fun hospitality!

Advance + store

If you want to assemble these sundaes Advance time You can (well, minus the sticky worms). You must save the errors you want to add before serving. 😉

These interesting sundaes can be assembled up to 7 days before you plan to supply them. Put the ice cream sundaes in their respective cups and wrap them tightly with plastic wrap. Remove them from the refrigerator about 15 minutes before serving, then add the sticky worms and any other worm ingredients you have.

Leftovers As long as they do not melt, they can be stored in the same way.

We hope you enjoy this fun treat! ! If you can’t go to Walt Disney World to enjoy it in person, don’t worry, because now you can make it at home. 😉
