White Chocolate Puppy Week (White Mud Buddy)

White Chocolate Puppy Week (White Mud Buddy)

White Chocolate Puppy Chow (Muddy Buddies) is made with white chocolate chips instead of milk chocolate, adding flavor to classic party treats!

I actually prefer white chocolate desserts to regular chocolate! This special treat is perfect for parties and movie nights. For another white chocolate party treat, try our white chocolate M&M popcorn!

Buddy Baini!

Who likes Puppy Chow (aka Muddy Buddies) here? !

I know some of you also call it Muddy Buddies, but either way, I decided to change it a bit and make a white chocolate version of this addictive and relaxing treat. You all know how much I like white chocolate, so I am a big fan of results.

I brought this to my mom and asked my niece and nephew to try it too, they liked it too. I took a little home and tried to hide it from the children, but it didn’t work well. It disappeared before I could even enjoy myself. Go figure it out!

Most importantly, I found another fast and delicious treat, and we will be able to enjoy it on movie night. 🙂

How to make

cereals. Put 9 cups of Chex Mix in a large bowl. Set aside.

coating. Put the butter, peanut butter, and white chocolate chips in a small pot over low heat, stirring constantly. Mix until all is melted and mixed well. Add vanilla and stir well.

Combine. Turn off the heat and pour on the cereal. Toss, so that most or all parts are coated with a good coating.

sugar. Put 1.5 cups of powdered sugar into a large zippered bag. Pour the oatmeal into the bag and shake it until all the oatmeal is coated with powdered sugar.

Put it in a bowl until ready to eat.

Tips for making puppies:

  • You want the chex to be spicy, so don’t add extra chex mixture, otherwise there will not be enough sauce to stick the powdered sugar on top. However, you can add extra powdered sugar to cover all the pieces.
  • When mixing cereals and chocolate peanut butter, be gentle to avoid crushing the cereals into small pieces
  • Mix the chocolate and peanut butter together over a low heat, so that everything melts completely and evenly. If it is still thick, you can add a drop or two of coconut oil to dilute it better.
  • Use regular peanut butter instead of natural peanut butter, because the added sugar will help everything stick together better.

Change and storage

Variety: This is a super delicious recipe in itself, but you can easily add other snacks, such as holiday sprinkles, chocolate candies such as Rees or M&M, pretzels, etc.

Is this recipe gluten free? The good news is that this recipe is gluten-free and is based on corn or rice. This recipe requires a whole box of chex mix, about 9 cups.

Raise a puppy storage In a closed container. Can keep 7-10 days at room temperature Or in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. I really like it when refrigerated, especially when I make it in the hot summer days of Arizona.

Store longer You can keep it in the refrigerator for 2-3 months. Take it out of the refrigerator and put it on the counter the night before you want to serve it. Some powdered sugar may fall off when frozen, so you may want to mix it with more powdered sugar.

As mentioned earlier, this recipe is very simple and does not take long to make. It is perfect for parties or any other gatherings you might attend or attend.
