Melting tips
Chocolate Foot: When the excess coating accumulates at the bottom of the snack, chocolate feet are formed. To prevent this from happening, let the excess coating drip off before putting Oreo on the parchment paper to solidify. If you do notice that chocolate is starting to accumulate, use a toothpick to “cut” the sink from the snack. If the foot is already fixed, just snap it off/trim it.
DBroiler: A very fast way to heat candy wafers in a microwave oven. You can also use double barbecue chicken. One benefit of double-decker broilers is that once the candy gets hot, it stays melted. If you don’t have a double boiler, you can easily make it yourself. Just fill the bottom of the pot with 2-3 inches of water. Bring the water to a boil, then turn the heat down. Put a glass or metal bowl on the pot. Add the wafers to the bowl and let it melt.
