What does it look like: This charming restaurant is located on the pier above the gently tapping waters of the bay, and its burning torches and chic ocean-style decoration will make you amazed. The best way to get here is to take the ferry between the sister hotel One & Only Royal Mirage and the pier (but be aware that the frequency of the boat will change after a certain point in the evening-so please check the time carefully, and Plan your meals accordingly). Floor-to-ceiling glass windows integrate indoors and outdoors, and the city lights flicker in the distance.
You can choose to sit down for a full meal, or enjoy snacks and drinks in the outdoor lounge-this may be a better choice because the food menu is very limited. We chose a cod salad with arugula, celery and fennel, and fried spinach with chicken sausage, pine nuts and manchego cheese. Both are light and fresh and taste interesting. For the main dish, my partner chose Josper Roast Chicken and Roasted Potatoes-it was tender and fragrant, but both sides felt they wanted quantity and variety. I chose paella. Although the portion is large and pleasant, it lacks authentic aroma and the taste is not as fresh as I want. However, the dessert not only made up for these shortcomings, because I chose berries-a mixture of meringue, fresh cream, strawberry sorbet and fresh berries, which was light and delicious. My partner’s frozen ice cream option-a bit like a delicious version of a chocolate bar, the vanilla ice cream is wrapped in hardened chocolate and can be easily polished. The average and slightly higher price food does not match the spectacular setting, but it is still a very special night.
