Quick Caprese Salad Only 5 Minutes!
Quick and easy caprese salad with mozzarella, tomatoes, avocado and a balsamic glaze is easy and delicious!
I love the taste of caprese, which is why I love caprese avocados, caprese roasts, caesar salad wonton cups, and of course this easy quick caprese salad with peas!

As I’ve been trying to come up with “healthier” meal and lunch ideas, I’m reminded of my love for Caprese recipes. The combination of mozzarella, basil and tomato is one of my favorites and I know I’ll love the salad version and that’s what I’m sharing with you today.
This Quick Caprese Salad takes minutes, is delicious, and filling! ! I didn’t have chicken, but it was a great addition too. Instead, I decided to add some avocado because it’s my favorite and “good fat.” right? ! đ
Readers have had a hard time finding the glaze in past Caprese recipes, but I’ve been able to find it in most grocery stores near vinegar or salad dressing. I’ll attach below a picture of the glaze I usually use for all Caprese recipes.
This is the balsamic glaze I like to use in Caprese recipes. This is delicious!
Just mix and enjoy!
Prepare. Start by rinsing the salad and adding it to the bowl.
gather. Add mozzarella balls, halved cherry tomatoes, salt and garlic pepper, and toss. Add sliced ââavocado and drizzle with a balsamic glaze just before serving. Please enjoy!
Tips + Storage Information
- For the vegetables in this recipe, We’re mostly using spinach in this recipe, but you can use romaine, iceberg, kale, basically any other vegetable you see fit.
- cherry tomatoes Sweeter than grape tomatoes with a thinner skin. Either good for this recipe!
- To do this in advance, Combine vegetables, tomatoes and cheese in a bowl. You should leave the avocado unpeeled and add the balsamic before serving.
storage, Season only individual parts of this salad and leave the rest of the salad without the dressing. This way the salad won’t turn mushy, although the avocados will brown over time.
