First preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease an 8 x 8 inch baking pan. Then, mix your dry ingredients in a bowl-flour, baking powder and salt.
In a separate bowl, combine the melted butter, sugar, and vanilla. Whisk the eggs one at a time. Mix the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients.
Then, divide the batter evenly into two bowls. In a bowl, add chocolate chips and cocoa powder. In a second bowl, stir pumpkin puree, walnuts, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg.
(tip: It does not have to be completely separate-you can observe it. Or, if you are a perfectionist đ Use a kitchen scale to weigh the total amount of batter and divide it in half. )

Grease an 8Ă8 inch baking pan.
