It’s easy to do:
One of the best things about these pumpkin sticks is that they are so easy to make. The ingredients are simple, and these bars can be made in 45 minutes. You probably already have all the ingredients at home to make these today.
wet ingredients. After preheating the oven to 350 degrees, place the eggs, sugar, oil and squash in a medium bowl and whisk until fluffy.
dry ingredients. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and baking soda. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until the batter is smooth.
bake. Pour the batter into a greased 15×10 baking pan and bake for 30 minutes.
Frosting, freezing, etc.
frost. You definitely don’t want to skip the frosting on these pumpkin bars. The cinnamon cream cheese frosting takes these bars to the next level and is really delicious.
While the bars are baking, combine the cream cheese, butter, vanilla, powdered sugar, and cinnamon in a medium bowl and whisk until smooth. Let the bars cool completely before frosting.
You can pre-cut the strips and pipe the frosting or frosting before cutting.

- 15 oz.canned pumpkin
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon

- 1/4 cup softened butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups powdered sugar
