  • 3 chicken breasts, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 5 cups milk (1 ÂĽ L)
  • 4 cups macaroni (400 g)
  • 1 cup pepper jack cheese (100 g), shredded

Prepare

  1. Heat oil in a large pot over high heat
  2. Add chicken and cook until no pink color is visible, about 5-6 minutes, then remove chicken.
  3. Add bell peppers and onions and cook until onions are translucent, about 6 minutes.
  4. Return chicken to pot, add salt, pepper, paprika, cumin, and garlic powder and stir until evenly coated, about 30 seconds.
  5. Add milk and macaroni, stirring constantly to prevent pasta from sticking.
  6. Cook for about 20 minutes, until the pasta is cooked and the milk has turned into a thick sauce that coats the pasta.
