How to make money
Do you have friends or family members who are about to graduate?
As mentioned earlier, my BIL recently graduated from ASU, so my brain has already graduated. When I thought about graduation, I realized that you can do a lot of interesting things with this theme! ! One thing I want to do is figure out how to make money leis, because I launched one last year and thought it was great! I mean, let’s face it-it looks much cooler than gift cards or checks, right? ! And this version of the wreath does not require a dollar bill, which means you can give a great gift for 30-35 dollars!
Although this project does take some time, it is really easy and the final product looks great!
Thanks to the husband who modeled this graduation gown and wreath, because I did not complete my BIL modeling in time! ! – Ha ha!
This is what you need…
Supplies:
– 30-35 one-dollar bills
-Use any color printing paper of your choice (I made white)
– Elmer’s glue point
– Hot glue gun and stick
-Ribbon
direction:
1. First collect your 1 dollar bill. You will need about 30-35.
2. Then you will turn your dollar bill into an accordion. To do this, you will twist the dollar bill as shown in Figure 1 and end with Figure 2. As a reminder, I folded my bill in the middle of the number 1 on the president’s side of the bill in the upper left corner (if it makes sense). Fold it in there to make it come out very well. From there, I folded the bill in half to form an indentation. Then I glued 2 glue dots and pulled down the side of the banknote to stick it. I also did this for the other side. Glue dots work well because they stick well, but they also fall off easily, so they won’t ruin the money. Note: Do not place the glue dots too close to the dent, because that is where we thread the ribbon to string the dollar bills.
3. Then, you will do the same with the banknotes and cut them into one-dollar pieces of paper. If you want, you can make all the dollar bills, but this also looks great and can save you half of your money! You also need 30-35 of them. I did not use glue dots on these, but thermal bonding, which is faster. Note: Make sure not to stick to the dent so that you can load the ribbon.
4. Use a ribbon to alternately string your dollar bills between accordion dollars and accordion paper. When finished, tie it up. Note: If you want to spend less money, you can also paste other items between the bills/documents. I think of butter rum lifeguards because they are golden. Just an idea. 🙂
Look! ! Both practical and interesting. What else can you want?
