Tips and storage

How can I get a juicy burger?

  • If possible, choose freshly ground meat.
  • Choosing ground beef with a higher fat content, such as 80/20, will produce a juicy burger. Lean meat makes a tough, dry burger.
  • Don’t over-mix the meat.
  • Keep the meat cold until you are ready to cook. The fat in the burger will not be cooked, resulting in a delicious and juicy burger. Remember, the more fat the burger will shrink.

store: Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. You can even freeze them for up to 4 months. Reheat in the microwave, stove, or bake/brake in the oven.

Pre-made pie:You can make patties in advance and store them in an undercooked airtight container, which can be kept in the freezer for up to 6 months. Be sure to separate the patties with freezer paper. Thaw in the refrigerator.
