a weird drink

This Halloween hot cocoa is so simple, but it’s a fun and festive drink to sip on a chilly October night.

You can dress it up however you want and serve it at a Halloween party (although you don’t need Any special occasion can do it. ) 😉

Making Halloween Hot Cocoa

milk. Heat milk and chips in a small pot on the stove over medium-low heat.

chocolate. Stir and heat until chips are melted.

Decorate. Remove from heat and stir in food coloring. Add marshmallows and fondant for garnish.

Put it in a crock pot:

You can also make this hot chocolate on a crock pot. Heat the milk in the microwave and add all the ingredients to the slow cooker. Cook on low for 5-6 hours or on high for 3-4 hours. Stir the hot chocolate frequently to make sure the chocolate doesn’t collect on the bottom.

Also, when using the slow cooker, I recommend using an equal amount of chopped white chocolate bars instead of white chocolate chips. For some reason, chocolate bars seem to melt more easily than white chocolate chips.

The slow cooker is also a great way to keep chocolate warm during parties. Set the pot to the “warm” setting. Stir frequently.
