Halloween Jelly Cup
I love the super fun and festive Halloween treats!
My kids and I recently went into the kitchen and cooked some creepy delicacies, and it turned out to be a hit!
When it comes to green jelly and sticky worms, you know it will be good. I see! These creepy cups are perfect for Halloween!
How to do it
jelly. Follow the instructions on the box to make the jelly. Pour the jelly into the cup and refrigerate for half an hour.
Fudge. Add sticky worms hanging on both sides. Put it back in the refrigerator.
Cold storage + service. If necessary, refrigerate for another half an hour and add a sticky worm in the middle. Continue to refrigerate until set. Add whipped cream and sprinkle before serving.
notes: We experimented on this, but didn’t realize that if you put the worm in the cup immediately after pouring Jell-O into the cup, the worm will dissolve (because of the heat). It is important to refrigerate Jell-O for at least half an hour before putting in the gel worms. 🙂
After putting Jell-O in the refrigerator for 1 hour, we also put a sticky worm in the middle. Waiting for an hour means that it is just thick enough to keep the worm standing (rather than sinking to the bottom).
Change + store information
We keep our hospitality very simple and like the result. If you want to change this treatment slightly, you can. Here are some ideas for letting creativity flow:
